Understanding the difference between Mandatory and Open-Ended activities. (All users)

When an activity is assigned a specific completion and end date, it is regarded as a mandatory requirement established by your organisation, with the clear expectation that the activity must be finished before the specified deadline.

In contrast, open-ended activities are classified as 'learn at your own pace' opportunities and are typically accessible via the Marketplace page within your application, provided this feature has been enabled by your organisation. Further details regarding these activities are provided in the following section.

When reviewing your learning records, mandatory activities are indicated with a tick, while non-mandatory activities are marked with a cross.
